Hola Señors, señoras,y señoritas! We had an early morning today. We woke up and had homemade pancakes and then climbed onto the bus to start our day. We arrived at the port and were greeted by our boat. During our boat ride we jammed out to some great music. Also, we got to meet our guides Phoebe and Diego. When we arrived at the snorkeling spot we took turns swimming around the reef and looking at the fish. Then we all jumped off the top of the boat one by one. It was very fun! We had another fun boat ride back to town. We had delicious smoothies. We then got the opportunity to shop around downtown PJ. For dinner we had some delicious pizza and lemonade We made our way back to the lodge and then we chilled out and had a night hike. Buenos Noches! Love, Tommy and Matthew
Hola! Today is the last day at Morgans Jungle lodge :( We woke up at 5:00 to go on a beach hike to start our day. We found a bunch of star fish in the title pools and we saw some baby lobsters in this BIG clay clumps which wholes in the clay. Adonis climbed up a coconut tree and got coconuts for us to try. We headed back to the lodge and Jackie made a spectacular breakfast. The breakfast was omelets with a lot of vegetables and ham. After breakfast everyone had to start packing. Once everyone finished we helped set up for the Mass. Later we played some games. The first was the crab race and we decorated hermit crabs them with colorful stickers. Next was the coconut push. We had to see who could push/throw the coconut the farthest. Then we ate lunch and had a delicious taco salad. We all got cleaned up for mass and practiced the hymns we were going to sing. The mass on the beach was beautiful. Then we took pictures with everyone. After pictures we had to chill. Some people went into the ocean while others made bracelets. Later we had some tasty BBQ for dinner and it was amazing! We all started to prep for our the talent show. The talent show was fantastic between Brian Geeding’s leg farts, Jerry’s impressions, the boys rap, solving rubric cubes, and the girls musical number. Jerry won the whole talent show. We were very sad it was our last day but we are excited to see our friends and family soon. Buenos Noches! XOXO, Grace and Clara

ReplyDeleteThe last day at Morgans Jungle Lodge sounded awesome. If I were to take a guess, Adaliene's Hermit Crab had Lily Pulitzer stickers on it's shell and was very fashionable.
Please make sure to see the beautiful Costa Rica scenery on the Marvin bus ride to San Jose. And my last advice for you, Adaliene is... Be gallant, be great, be gracious and be grateful for the opportunities you have on this journey and every other journey in your future.

Great blog entry, Grace and Clara! Between the snorkeling, shopping, CR games (I told you that nail polish would come in handy painting crab shells), Mass on the beach, and the Talent Show, you must be exhausred. Maybe take a little nap on the bus to San Jose? Huge congrats to Jerry- Talent Show champ!

Great photos and updates from the final days in CR!! I love the picture of our dutiful chaperones on the boat!! Wish we were there with you!! Thank you so much to each of you for your hard work on this trip - for keeping our kids safe and being the ring masters of fun. We so appreciate the sacrifices that you have made to go on this trip and for being parents to our kids while they are away. Muchas Gracias!!!!!

Snorkling, the boat ride, beach photos, mass...it all looks amazing!! Liza did you swim with the dolphins?? You look close enough to pet them!! ;)

Good luck on the long trek back! I'm sure you will be exhausted by the time we see you tomorrow night! Can't wait to see you, Lizard and the rest of the SMS travelers!
