  1. Hi Again Everyone,
    Three things...
    1. Grace, good job sitting in the front of the bus.
    2. Good job to Katie and Ciara on their blog post. It was informative and we always like to hear about the delicious food.
    3. Grace, please tell me that bug was not actually on your tongue!
    Love, Mrs. D

  3. Hi Matthew! How was the plantain? Glad to see you're managing to have a good time, and I'm really looking forward to seeing pictures from the Jungle Lodge. When you get there, you'll probably hear a tale of a great fisherman who hooked a giant yellow fin tuna and wrestled it onto the boat from the roiling Pacific, then brought it back and fed the entire camp for several days. Remember - it's a true story.

We all miss you! Enjoy everything.

    Love,
    Dad

  5. Hello travelers (& especially Jerry) The sun is shining brightly here, but there will be NO pool party. I expect that Jerry will be spending as much time as possible in El Hamac Hangout. Jerry please remember to take some pictures of your trip. I am very interested in knowing who won the Chicken Fight @ your pool party. I have no doubt that the battle between Team Michael/Matthew & Team Jack/Jerry was EPIC! A huge thank you to your bloggers for keeping us in the loop. Jerry - your dog misses you. He is spending a LOT of time in your room lying on the floor. He is being well taken care of, I assure you.
    I love you very much!

  6. Wow, what wonderful adventures already!!! It looks like an episode of Survivor - tropical terrain, Grace Doyle eating bugs, chicken fight challenges and man eating alligators! Come to think, I haven't seen Liza in any pictures since the journey across the alligator bridge!?! Hmmm..... When she is finished wrestling gators for immunity, please tell her to spend some time swimming laps in that pool!! (Is that 25 yards? ;)

Also, please let Liza know that Gabby and her friends are taking advantage of her being gone! They had a super fun playdate today in the Pink Palace and turned her bedroom into an awesome playroom. Gabby is totally ready to move in to her "sweet room" and promises to keep it cleaner! (SOLD!) On the flip side, not sure if Louie has realized that she is gone, as he is too busy enjoying the 4 day weekend!

Hope all of you have a fantastic Valentine's Day tomorrow. Your loved ones back in Cincy miss you very much! We LOVE the photos and updates. Looks like tons of fun! Wish we were there!

    Miss you Lizard!!
XOXO, Mom, Dad, Louie, Gab and Romeo

  9. Hi Maggie & everyone, I tried to send you a post from a bball game but don't think that went through....Paddy's team was decidedly losing so I decided to check the blog & see what you all were up to, much more pleasant. Wow -- amazing fun stuff! Mags - Plz stay away from the bugs, but enjoy the WARMTH & SUNSHINE! You are so missed - your brothers are especially lost without you...sort of ;). Have fun & please hydrate well, wear sunscreen & bug spray! Love You tons! Mom, Dad, & the boys, including Angus

  10. Hello and Happy Vantines day to you all! Especially to my 2 Vaentines Matt and Jack H. Mrs K thanks for posting so many pictures on your first day! We love seeing what you are up to and especially the happy smiles on your faces! It really is a comfort to know you are having a blast!!
Not much to report from home as of now, you have already heard about the Arctic temps and the snow on the way! Ugh! Nicholas has been busy getting ready for his Crash B's this morning, I'll be heading out for that soon and Charlie has been too busy having fun to really realize you guys are even gone!! Abby, now I think she knows you are gone (I don't give long walks when it's single digits!).
Keep us posted on your many adventures and I'll report more from home later.
    Love and miss you both,
    Mom, Charlie and Nicholas

  11. Maggie -- just a small addendum: so, you are in the beautiful tropics, your Dad just texted me from the Louvre in Paris...and I am trying to get my 3 valentines (your brothers) to shower before mass! I think I got the short end of the stick here...on a positive note, I gave GrandmaLayna your blog address -- you should see some fun comments from frigid Chicago as well :). Love you, Mom
